Takanashi Kiara is a member of Hololive English. Her dream is to become a fast food shop owner. Her fans like to call themselves employees of her fast food chain Kiara Fried Phoenix (KFP).
On December 22, 2020, an image of KFC’s real chicken-warming console was revealed on Twitter. Not to be outdone, Kiara urged her KFP members to build her own console. However, one of her employees mentioned that this was difficult because chickens do not have fingers to hold screwdrivers. Kiara then threatened them to “grow some yubis” or else she would take them to “the usual room.”
Since then, the usual room has been understood as a sanity-sapping place of extreme punishment. KFP members took the joke further with claims that this usual room either does not exist or is merely a room with a benign purpose while subtly requesting rescue. KFP members have also requested the help of Ninomae Ina’nis only to find that she herself was second in command of KFP.
In her superchat reading on July 17, 2021, Kiara unveiled an illustration of the usual room. Contrary to the expectations of the room to be dark and horrifying, the usual room was bright white, modern, and clinical. The usual room featured cameos of various Hololive members in the background.
